Mr. Shapiro represents businesses in the real estate,
technology, insurance, healthcare, and hospitality
fields. He provides clients with advice on business
formation, daily operations, contracts, sales and acquisitions,
regulatory compliance, employee and independent contractor
issues, financing, zoning and litigation. In addition, Mr. Shapiro has significant experience
helping individuals with their real estate and estate
planning needs. Mr. Shapiro is an approved attorney
with Old Republic and Fidelity Title Insurance Companies
and regularly counsels clients about their home and
real estate investment purchases, including the use
of private and government assisted funding programs.
Mr. Shapiro has lectured before medical organizations
and hospital professional staff on topics including
fraud and abuse compliance programs, HIPAA, and asset
protection planning. He has also appeared on television
programs speaking on real estate law.
Mr. Shapiro received his law degree
from Rutgers School of Law where he graduated with
Distinction in
International and Foreign Law, and his undergraduate
degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Mr. Shapiro
is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
He is also admitted to practice before the Supreme
Court of the United States and the U.S. District Courts
for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the District
of New Jersey. Prior to founding the firm, Mr. Shapiro
worked in-house as a real estate attorney in the telecommunications
industry and for the Philadelphia-area firm of Murland
Goldstein & Nathan, P.C.
