Adam has been my corporate attorney for over 10 years. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable. He efficiently moves through the judicial system and always keeps the best interest of his client in the foreground.
We hired Adam to represent us for a patent dispute. He was excellent from the very beginning. He was thorough, detailed, honest, forthright, succinct, and available to us for questions at all times. Needless to say he achieved the best outcome we could have hoped for, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. I only wish I could have given him a check mark on all of the attributes listed on LinkedIn, but it would only allow 3.
All of us at Be a Part of the Conversation are indebted to Doug Leavitt and the staff at Danziger Shapiro & Leavitt for their guidance in helping us to establish and grow our nonprofit organization. Doug has been an invaluable resource, providing insight and understanding from the very beginning. In addition to answering our endless questions, he is also incredibly proactive – tirelessly working to ensure that our organization is moving forward in the best light possible. I honestly do not know where we would be today without the support and generosity of Doug and the team at Danziger Shapiro & Leavitt.
We retained Doug to help us in a business dispute regarding several investments we had in restaurants and real estate in Cape May. Doug proved to be skilled in both litigation and negotiation, as well as reducing the settlement to writing, which required a thoughtful approach and high attention to detail to protect out interests because we had to do take back financing. The security agreements had to be carefully written so we could take back the restaurant and IP if the need arose- which it did! Thankfully everything was in place and Doug was able to get everything back and we came out unharmed. It is clear to us that Doug truly cares about his clients. Unless something like this happens to you, you wouldn't know how important it is to have the right attorney. We do.
I am an officer in a Civil Engineering firm in New Jersey with over 45 employees and have retained many attorneys in the past. However, Doug Leavitt has helped my firm in reviewing and developing new corporate documents and professional agreements. Doug is an excellent attorney who is very personable and knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.
Doug did a great job helping me make sure I was protected in a restaurant investment. His expertise proved invaluable. I would highly recommend him to any of my friends or family.
I recently worked with Doug Leavitt for the purchase of a salon. He was great to work with! I would highly recommend him.
I have worked with Doug and his colleagues for my personal legal needs for more than a decade and have always been a satisfied customer. I receive excellent, practical legal advice with a personal touch. My work requires me to interact regularly with attorneys from many of the top-rated law firms around the country, so I consider myself to be an informed consumer of legal services. I can honestly say that the quality provided but Doug and his colleagues is just as good as that provided by the big name firms and often, in my experience, better. On one occasion, I asked Doug to assist me with legal due diligence on a substantial real estate investment. Several weeks into the process, Doug advised that we not proceed further because the other party was unwilling to provide the legal protections that Doug was recommending. Based on Doug's advice we terminated the deal even though Doug lost out on additional legal fees from continued work on the transaction. Three years later I learned that the investment had turned our to be a disaster with the builder going bankrupt. Doug's advice likely saved me several hundred thousand dollars in losses and significant headaches.
I have worked with both Doug and Adam (the partners of the firm) on a corporate and personal basis. They are very knowledgeable, down to earth, and get right to the facts! Would recommend them any day!
Adam- I would like to sincerely thank you for the time, effort and attention you afforded our case. The result, obviously, is that we received our escrowed funds, but can assuredly say that it would not have been as easy if you had not gotten involved. I think it is worth nothing that your professionalism was tremendous. I was more than one hundred miles away, an out-of-state resident and naïve in the ways the real estate world; I would have made easy prey. You are a credit to lawyers everywhere, and although I was disappointed in the way those who held up our funds behaved, you helped restore my faith in the honesty and decency of strangers. We are currently reassessing our entry into the real estate market in Philadelphia and when and if that occurs, we would be delighted to have you in our corner.
